The festival culminates in an elevated walk-around tasting through Naro at Rockefeller Center that unites the most exciting AAPI culinary and wine talent from both coasts.

The East Meets West Tastemaker Tour brings celebrated west coast chefs and makers from Portland to New York - including Han Oak, Magna Kusina, JinJu Patisserie with Naro - alongside a lineup of acclaimed AAPI winemakers and heritage-driven producers from the Willamette Valley and beyond.

Guests will experience an immersive tasting led by the AAPI winemakers and sommeliers shaping the next era of American wine. Designed as a guided, interactive walk-through, each station brings together a winemaker and a sommelier, inviting attendees into deeper conversations about terroir, technique, culture, and the Asian American experience in wine. Guests will move at their own pace using conversational prompts to spark meaningful exchanges with each tastemaker.

Across all sessions, attendees will meet producers from Alexana Winery, CHO Wines, Evening Land Vineyards, Hundred Suns, Junichi Fujita, and Nash Vineyards, alongside leading AAPI sommeliers Jhonel Faelnar, Eunhee Kwon, Anna-Christina Cabrales and more. Bites from esteemed Portland chefs and Naro complement the wines, offering culinary expressions that echo the same dialogue of heritage and innovation.

This event spans three sessions:

  • Session 1 exclusively welcomes industry professionals and media for focused dialogue, trade insights, and press-centered storytelling.

  • Sessions 2 and 3 are consumer-focused, offering the public a rare, direct connection with the AAPI voices driving American wine forward.

More than a tasting, this is an intentional exchange with the winemakers, sommeliers, and culinary artists redefining the future of food and wine.
