Malia is half of the winemaking duo at Landmass Wines. She and her partner, Melaney make a small and thoughtful amount of wine in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge, Oregon. Repeatedly breaking convention, their approach to the business completely defies the traditional understanding of what wine business can be and who can be doing it. Sparkling wine is the focus for Landmass but bright whites and playful rosés also make up a meaningful part of their portfolio. The candid nature of the duo has rapidly built a comfortable and cheerful community for wine-lovers of all kinds to celebrate one of the lesser-known wine regions of the Pacific Northwest: the Columbia River Gorge.
