June Royer

Royer Vineyard began in 2016 with a simple devotion: to listen closely to the land and grow white grapes that carry its voice. High on a southwest-facing ridge in the Eola Hills, the vines are shaped by wind and light, rooted in ancient volcanic soils, and tempered by cool nights that slow time and sharpen clarity.

Each afternoon, ocean air pours through the Van Duzer Corridor, brushing the vineyard with steady winds that strengthen the vines, thicken skins, and bring balance to the fruit. Days build energy; nights restore it. Ripening unfolds gradually, guided by patience rather than force.

Chardonnay anchors the site, planted in a mosaic of clones chosen for diversity and expression. The vineyard is farmed organically, with care given to soil life, cover crops, and the quiet ecosystems that sustain resilience beneath the surface. Oaks, insects, birds, and fungi all share in the work.

Royer Vineyard is farmed with intention and humility—allowing wind, earth, and season to shape wines of grace, tension, and enduring sense of place.
